The battle of energy, make it clean

Years ago a man named Thomas Edison understood the battle he had with Westinghouse and Tesla. He lost the battle and so years later we also have lost the battle. We will never be energy independent as long as the electric grids continue to supply us electric power. You may disagree with me 100%. There is another issue and that is the energy economy. When we produced electric power using dams there were no charges for fuels. This was the very first form of generating electric power. As time continued people started to move away for coastal cities and river areas. Thus coal was used to make steam from clean clear water. Remember energy can not be destroyed nor created. The problem that Thomas Edison saw back in the 1930's was it takes thousands of years for our earth to produce not create coal, oil and natural gas. Yet it takes us seconds to burn these fuels. I understand that we will never be able to eliminate fuels. But I also understand you do not need the electrical grids to have electric power. The only solution to the world's energy problems is not more power but to go off the grid. Only a fool would think that everyone can go off the grid. It will take time for this to happen. Years ago not everyone had grid tied electric power that also took time. People had to give up gas lanterns for light bulbs. Not one home when the grid started was wired for electric power. That also took time.

Now for the real facts. There are more people in this world that live under "Energy Poverty". The grid is not where they live. There are other clean fuels but we truly don't have a clean economy. Only 25% of all fuels are used for generating grid electric power. Maybe if we went all off the grid we can be independent of the grid and coal, oil or natural gas. We must stop this madness of thinking this will never happen in my life time. Think about this. Who is really responsible for fuels? Who is really part of the problem and not the solution. I am just one man with a goal. I have made lots of people upset because I know what is good and what is bad. I have been attacked many times by many people that are in some way invested in energy. Do you really think the answer to our and I mean all of us; energy problems is to produce more energy? It was once said doing something differently and coming up with the same results and expecting different results is crazy.

All I am asking you is to think of a better solution. I think you will come to the same answer. Please understand the world's populations are growing. Something has got to give or fail. Like I said before. We are all part of the problem. But a few has taken the other answer. Go off the grid. Produce your own power where you need it. I can't tell the future. But I can see what is going on, all over the world. We are outgrowing the gird. Then what? The grids of the world can not handle the demand now. All I am saying is we need a better solution for producing electric power. The simplest solution comes up in the morning and down at night. Please understand all the fuels used is 10,800,000 terawatt hours. The sun's direct solar radiation is 350,000,000 terawatts an hour. Is there any problem or does anyone think we are going to run out of the sun's energy? Yet in 1930's Thomas Edison warned us that we will run out of fuels.
